Today Angie shares with us this beautiful recipe around our Papaya SOS Marmalade.
“Whether you’re in summer or winter, it’s always a good time to enjoy endless smoothie bowls all day every day! Papaya is one of my favourite summer fruit and acai bowl is my favourite breakfast food. So why not combine them into one scrumptious soothing bowl? This is in fact inspired by the Papaya SOS Marmalade from my favourite vegan skincare brand Ere Perez. They have a wide range of vegan skincare and cosmetic products which I have been using them and totally in love with them!
This Papaya SOS Marmalade is a nourishing cocktail of coconut, hemp, chia, grapefruit oil & fermented papaya that helps to hasten the delivery of essential antioxidants & vitamins to the skin. So let’s get into the recipe!
- 100g firm tofu
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk (I used coconut milk)
- 1/2 cup frozen berries
- 1/2 cup frozen chopped papaya
- 1 Tbsp acai powder
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 2 Tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 Tbsp nut butter
- 1 Tbsp maple butter (optional but it makes it taste caramel-y)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 Tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2 vanilla powder
Blend everything in a high-speed blender until smooth, topped with your favourite toppings and enjoy :).”
