look – how to highlight

There’s an art to highlighting so here’s the lowdown on how to highlight like a pro.

You don’t need to be a beauty expert to get this right – just follow our steps to accentuate your angles and you’ll be illuminated. Brought to you by our very own and ultra radiant vanilla highlighter

#1 ZEBRA STRIPES

What you need –

vanilla highlighter – sun halo | carrot colour pot – healthy | natural almond mascara – black | almond eyebrow pencil

  1. Start with a clean fresh face or with a layer of foundation.
  2. Now strategically place vanilla highlighter – sun halo on the higher parts of your face or the places that naturally catch the light.
  3. Using our eco vegan lip & conceal brush, apply cream highlighter: above & below the eyebrow; across the arch of your cheekbone; down the bridge of your nose.
  4. Blend into skin with fingers or for extra oomph, our eco vegan multipurpose brush.
  5. To really dazzle, apply highlighter to the corner of the eye, chin and crest of your top lip. Again – blend well!
  6. To finish the look, define brows with almond eyebrow pencil, apply a lick of natural almond mascara – black. Sign off with carrot colour pot – healthy applied as cream blush to the cheeks and colour for the lips.

#2 JOIN THE DOTS

What you need –

vanilla highlighter – sun halo | carrot colour pot – healthy | natural almond mascara – black | almond eyebrow pencil

  1. With a finger, apply vanilla highlighter – sun halo in dots horizontally along your brow bone, centre of the forehead, down the bridge of your nose, along the bottom of your chin and under your eyes.
  2. Blend these dots with our eco vegan multipurpose brush to merge the cream with skin or foundation.
  3. Apply another layer of dots to the cheekbones and blend well.
  4. Finish off with almond eyebrow pencil, natural almond mascara – black and a dab of carrot colour pot – healthy for natural colour on the cheeks and lips.

I’m a dietitian working in the field for more than ten years. I’m passionate about this, and I have completed several studies in US, Mexico and Spain. These days, life saturates us with toxins. This generates all sort of diseases, reactions and deficiencies. I believe nutrients are the best allies to stay healthy, but there are so many sides that contribute to it. My intention is balancing health in, out & around. I love being able to share tips with everyone on how to achieve a balanced life and a healthy lifestyle. That is why I’m starting a project named Katy’s Balance Life. (https://instagram.com/katianas/) I work at Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics, and I love it. I’m the Training and Development Executive. Year by year, I get to travel around Australia, Singapore, Mexico and any other new country where we stock our products. Traveling is my life and I have learnt many health tips along the way from all our customers. My main responsibility is to ensure that everyone who works with our product is well trained, so they comprehend the benefits of our ingredients, understand a healthy lifestyle and the versatility of our product. I hope you enjoy my tips.
