bold makeup

Ben Dniprowskij began dancing at the age of 3. Born in Melbourne, he discovered his interest in makeup watching all the girls having it applied, but it wasn’t until he developed a skin condition as a teenager that he really discovered the power of makeup. After 6 years of working in a hair salon, Ben decided to become a makeup artist. He learned from YouTube videos and three years later – his achievements included winning the Make Up for Ever Pro contest where he learnt to body paint in Paris, becoming the face of a MAC Cosmetics global campaign, having his work featured in magazines such as Vogue, Schon, The impression and KaltBlut. He then entered a new era where he has become contributing editor of Lauds new magazine endeavor, Laud Unleashed. Ben had found his passion and was living his dream!

natural blush

Genna Di Giovanna is a makeup artist based in New York. She lives a plant-based lifestyle and uses natural products in all aspects of her life, including beauty, health and clothing. It was an obvious choice for us to mesh this natural way of living with the use of natural cosmetics. She recently tried the Ere Perez skincare and makeup and was inspired to create this “natural blush look”. “First things first, skincare. I used the Australian Blue Cypress Face Nectar on clean skin before any makeup is applied. I really love the way this hydrates the skin. I used this first to get the skin looking lush and dewy. After that I used the Quinoa Water foundation – Haze. This foundation is super light. If you’re the type of person that prefers a sheer foundation, I highly recommend this one. Next up, the Arnica Concealer – Latte. This everyday concealer blends nicely into the skin. For my cheeks the Carrot Colour Pot – Harmony pot gave me just enough colour for a natural blush …

matchy matchy

Sometimes it’s fun to match! We match our shoes and handbags on special occasions, earrings with necklaces. Even a beach towel and bikini. How about eyes and lips? Pairing eyeshades with a matching lip colour is a great way to create a seamless look. It’s not always about finding the exact same shade of eyeshadow and lipstick – it’s more about finding complimentary colours that go together. A bit of this + a bit of that = perfection! We’ve broken down 2 looks to show you which beauties from our range to choose to create Andrea’s looks for yourself… Look #1 – light terracotta + ruby red

By now we have kick-started 2019 and are getting back into the swing of things. Life has returned to normal, after the holidays. We love Ere Perez products because they are no-fuss and easy to use. You don’t have to be an expert to look good! We have created 2 great looks that are quick and simple to do. For when you’re running out of time in the morning, or have to change after work for an evening event, these looks will save you. The mirror is our friend, but in moderation. There are more fun things to do than spend hours staring into it!

lipstick love

February is the month of love. Why? Ask St. Valentine! We are celebrating love in all forms. Lips are a very sensual part of our bodies, especially because we use them for kissing! We are reminding ourselves – and all of you – that your lips deserve love, regardless of who is/isn’t kissing them. Sometimes we can get into the habit of saving lipstick only for date night. Or putting it on as a way of impressing someone, or grabbing a certain person’s attention. What if, in February, we love our lips, just for us? Lips are our smile, part of our enjoyment of delicious drinks and yummy food. They show our emotions and help us talk and sing! There are many ways to show your lips some love: use a lip sugar scrub to remove dead skin, apply our cranberry lip & eye cream at night to hydrate, remember your lip balm when you leave the house! The more you look after your lips, the better they will be when you apply lipstick. Most …

new year shine

It’s 2019 and we are ready for awesomeness! January is the perfect time to vision all we want to accomplish for the year. If you are feeling a little sluggish after a long holiday + festive season, or maybe like your skin has had too much sun, snow or too many parties – focusing on detoxing, eating clean food, plenty of water plus early nights. It’s the recipe to get your glow back. That’s the inside. Now for the outside! We can’t go past a highlighter to bring in the new year, keep the holiday feels rolling, and also to shimmer to the office because, let’s face it, for January, we’d all rather be on a beach somewhere! Highlighter is the perfect way to remind yourself of all the exciting things 2019 will bring, of the dreams that will blossom and the moments that’ll leave us breathless. The lovely Ingrid shows us how it’s done…

here comes the sun

It’s the start of summer in the southern hemisphere. Think long days, balmy nights, endless swimming and lots of sun! We love summer, it’s a big part of the Australian lifestyle. Bring on beach days, salty skin and vegan ice cream. Tropical heat is amazing when our winter bodies first start to warm up, but some days are just too hot (and sweaty!) Beach umbrellas & hats are essential, sandals come out to play and no way do we want to spend hours blow-drying hair.

party eyes

It’s been a long year and finally – holidays are here! We wish everyone a happy and restful festive time with family and friends. To celebrate, we are getting glammed up! Most of the time, daily makeup routines consist of foundation, bronzer or blush, colour on the lips and mascara. This certainly is my daily look. For the silly season though, I want to go all out. I don’t usually focus on my eyes, and this year, I want to highlight them, add a bit more drama and make my eyes stand out. Our friend Regina has similar hair and complexion, and we used her natural beauty as the perfect palette to try out a look that’s all about the eyes. If you don’t normally wear a lot of eye makeup, this is the perfect tutorial to let your eyes sparkle. For festive dinners, celebrations and parties, this is your look! makeup your way

Some days you wear lip balm and a smile, your gorgeous freckles shine through. Other days, you want a full face of makeup. We are all so unique, our moods change and one of the great things about makeup is how it allows us to express our personality and how we are feeling. Anyone who says makeup isn’t creative, isn’t thinking about it in the right way! How we dress, how we style our hair and what we put on our faces is a way that we show who we are in the world. Some days you want to hide, some days you feel that happy glow. Some days you frown, others you are on top of the world. As the saying goes – there’s a lipstick to match that mood! Our oat milk foundation is for luxurious full coverage, for when you want a little extra on your skin. It comes in 6 awesomely wearable shades: Latte, Honey, Chai, Caramel, Brew, Mocha. Get yours! At the end of a long day, wipe it all …

make it minimal

We like quick fixes, no-fuss and multi-tasking products… For busy days, early mornings and long days – we want easy makeup rituals that save time. We want that extra ten minutes of hitting the snooze button on cold mornings, drinking tea and reading a magazine before work, snuggling with the cat before racing to the train. We are all about moments that count & finding solutions that give us more of the good things in life. Two of our best versatile beauties feature in these looks. Carrot colour pots & ginkgo micellar water!  Ingrid from Norway shows us how it’s done.
