sharing the love of natural with my mum

When I was a young girl, I loved watching my mum do her daily beauty routine. Even back then she used natural ingredients to look after her skin. She slept with aloe vera on her face, exfoliated with sugar and honey and only used natural creams to moisturise. I think that’s when I started to love healthy skin! My mother was a nurse, but definitely an alternative one! She is passionate about natural health and she has always relied on homemade remedies. One of the traditions we still share together is to make and apply our natural homemade mask. This Mother’s Day, I’m happy to share our favourite recipe, it’s very easy!

Anti-ageing Mask with Argan Oil and Avocado

While we can’t go back in time, there are still things we can do to help reduce and prevent fine lines and damaged skin! The active ingredients in this mask may help do the trick. Argan oil gives the skin a youthful glow, reduces the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles and restores elasticity. Avocado contains high amounts of protein for anti-aging and also contains sterolin, which softens skin and reduces age spots. It’s also high in antioxidants for healing sun-damaged skin. Pamper yourself with this nurturing, easy-to-make anti-ageing mask. Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of ripe avocado 1 tablespoon of oat flour 1 tablespoon of rice syrup 1 tablespoon of argan oil Method: Blend all 4 ingredients into a clay texture. Apply to the face all the way to the neck, leave on 20 -30min – sit down and relax for some quality ‘me time’! Remove with cold water and dry. Tip: For best results, apply this mask once a week. ****************** Version español  Mascarilla Anti Edad con Aceite de Argano y Aguacate Por más que queremos …
