Even weather can lift or sink our mood! We all know the feeling of a grey day, when its gloomy outside and harder to get out of bed. Or sometimes relationships can make us feel glum. We have a fight with a friend, a partner, or suffer loss in our lives. Or simply – we are too busy or stressed to smile. As a makeup artist, I love playing with dramatic eyes, dark lips and lots of highlighter. In my makeup kit, I have lipsticks of every colour, but I used to leave the nude tones for smokey eyes or stronger “eye looks” as I felt like they didn’t bring enough colour. I decided recently to leave my “intense dramatic makeup look” phase behind and explore my “is she even wearing makeup?” phase… Soft skin, together with a dewy and lightly bronzed look and neutral lip shade is the perfect mix for healthy looking skin.
