lipstick love

February is the month of love. Why? Ask St. Valentine! We are celebrating love in all forms. Lips are a very sensual part of our bodies, especially because we use them for kissing! We are reminding ourselves – and all of you – that your lips deserve love, regardless of who is/isn’t kissing them. Sometimes we can get into the habit of saving lipstick only for date night. Or putting it on as a way of impressing someone, or grabbing a certain person’s attention. What if, in February, we love our lips, just for us? Lips are our smile, part of our enjoyment of delicious drinks and yummy food. They show our emotions and help us talk and sing! There are many ways to show your lips some love: use a lip sugar scrub to remove dead skin, apply our cranberry lip & eye cream at night to hydrate, remember your lip balm when you leave the house! The more you look after your lips, the better they will be when you apply lipstick. Most …

eyes light up

Highlight your eyes. They frame our face, they are how we connect to others. Attention to the simple things can make a world of difference. We like bright eyes, long lashes & tidy brows as basic steps to a great natural look. Forget the extras we’re going back to basics! Eye health is important. Treat your eyes to natural products. They are sensitive and can react to chemical products. Change your mascara and eyeshadow every six months to keep your eyes fresh A layer of clear mascara on your eyebrows can work wonders! If your brows are sparse, use a natural eyebrow pencil Wash your makeup brushes. It’s a good idea to invest in new ones when they are starting to shed hairs and feel tough on skin.
